Tressa (Van Gilder) Buhrle was born in Appalachia, in West Virginia.

Tressa was born in 1893. She was the daughter of George Vangilder and Lucina Cutright. She passed away in 1990 and is buried in Sunset Memorial Park, Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. ^[1]
